    I really enjoyed staying at this brand-new hotel because of the charming ambience. View was superb, breakfast was satisfactory, and beds were comfortable. The rooms were large and the staff was top-class.

    Oh man, the culinary scene around the Royal in Riga is epic! Trust me, you can't miss diving into the classic fried fish at a nearby joint. It's pure bliss! And the location? Everything you want is a mere stroll away, my twin room was spacious and even had a bath! Just fab!

    But toss in a cheeky critique, this hotel is dated and my first impression was dark and dreary, not the cute vibe I hoped for. No hot water! As for breakfast, it was average at best, I managed the eggs, but that's about it.

    You absolutely cannot beat the location of this hotel. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are too. Turn-down service is probably the best in Europe-a bottle of water and a quality chocolate per person. The staff is friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is quite good and the fact that they'll deliver it to your room is amazing.

    The ac is not adequate enough to make sleeping under the down blanket comfortable. The bath towels are way too small and cheap.

    Excellent location, perfectly designed rooms, very friendly and well-english-spoken staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody who would like to go to Riga and be in the heart of Oldtown. I will definitely choose this hotel on my next stay as I'm a person who always visits Riga, very often.

    The only thing about hotel which I dont like was the prices of the beverages in minibar. The prices will be definitely high as you are staying in a good hotel, but, the prices shouldn't be skyrocketing.

    Staying in the heart of old town made it super easy to stroll to landmarks like St Peter's Church and the House of the Blackheads. The nearby Vermane Garden was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

    The location in the middle of the Old Town is fantastic. All the staff in the hotel was extremelly nice and helpful. If I go back to Riga, I'd definetely visit this hotel.

    I was expecting a more variety breakfast.

    Excellent attention to detail and staff friendliness. Location is unbelievable and the quality of everything from the bed throw to the bathroom towels and complimentary chocolate spell luxury.

    Really good location in the heart of old town.

    The room was poorly maintained with stained carpets, and the heater did not function properly. The breakfast options were terribly disappointing, with cold food and dirty utensils. The hotel felt understaffed, and the reception often lacked attention to guests' needs.

    Riga's vibe is everything 🇱🇻

    Dude, the location is just perfect-you can stroll to all the must-see spots like St Peter's Church! The room was super chill, with a lekker comfy king-size bed and solid water pressure in the shower. Plus, they were friendly at reception, even lent me a heater without fuss!

    But brekkie was a bit average, not much to choose from.
